Socialization of Puppies
All of our little teapots are born and raised in our home. They spend most of their time in our living room, taking over our everyday lives. We believe that in order for a young labrador to be as well adjusted as possible they need to be exposed to a variety of sights, sounds, smells and surfaces at a young age.
To that end we handle the pups from day 1. We create an ever-changing puppy play world in our living room for the pups to explore. We give the pups lots of time to explore the great outdoors and use classical conditioning techniques to introduce the puppies to loud noises and new surfaces. We even enjoy doing some clicker training with the puppies. The pictures below illustrate some of the experiences our pups enjoy while living with us.
