Service Dogs
Service Dogs assist people with disabilities. People who use wheelchairs or need help walking, children with Autism or people who are hearing impaired can all benefit from a canine partner. During the years we spent training and placing service dogs we saw firsthand how a service dog can change a person's life. A service dog is trained to help their partner by picking up dropped items, finding a cordless phone, opening doors, removing shoes or socks, or getting help. However the most important thing service dogs give are independence and love.
We believe service dogs provide a great benefit to their partners. Unfortunately not every dog can do this difficult job. It takes an exceptional puppy to become a service dog. Teapot Labradors is proud to donate extraordinary puppies to this cause. Currently there are 7 Teapot Labradors in training at Susquehanna Service Dogs. We plan on continuing this support by breeding and donating healthy, confidant puppies. Check back for updates as our dogs finish their training and become working companions.
